Founder and CEO
Rajeev has over 20 years of experience in Information management working with Fortune 1000 Clients including P&G, Bank of America, Wachovia, Apple, Intel, GAP, LOWES etc. Prior to founding Datalakes, he was the Head of Sales, Big Data at Infosys. Rajeev has also held various other positions in Infosys and GE where he created great client relationships and high performing teams. Rajeev holds a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from University of Calicut, India.

Krishna is a technologist with focus on Systems integration, RIA and SOA. He has extensive experience in architecting high performance enterprise application systems leveraging J2EE technologies and related frameworks for Fortune 1000 Clients including IBM, AVIALL, Bank of America, Cars.com etc. He was the winner of various National level competitions including Adobe Riathon, Microsoft Code4Bill, Infosys Top Coder, Cars.com Hackathon. Krishna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) – India.

Russell Douglas has experience in IT strategy and planning, IT organizational realignment, enterprise architecture, system integration, infrastructure and operations, data architecture, and business intelligence. He has worked across a broad range of industries, including Aerospace & Defense, Retail, Telecommunications, Energy, Financial Services, and Distribution. Prior to Pariveda, Russell was an IT executive at Aviall Services Inc., a Boeing company, in a variety of roles, including Chief Architect for Boeing ERP replacement and was a key leader in IT strategy and emerging technology, enterprise architecture, business intelligence, application development and integration, data center operations, and e-Business (EDI) and e-Commerce. He initiated or enhanced new IT functions including Enterprise Architecture, Production Control, e-Commerce and SOX compliance systems. Russell is a sought after speaker and has lectured on many subjects’ including topics on Gartner’s PACE Layers, Enterprise Architecture, team building, performance management, and storage array Implementation and management, SaaS, SOA, software Integration & deployment, and ERP data migration. Russell has authored several whitepapers on product integration, performance management, and project implementation methodology and was selected for CIO Magazine’s “Ones to Watch – Top 20 Rising Stars in IT”

CIO, Dollar Tree & Advisor, Datalakes
Josh joined Family Dollar (Now Dollar Tree) as Senior Vice President–Chief Information Officer in August 2002. His strategic and operational responsibility for all aspects of Information Technology for Family Dollar includes the design, development, deployment and support of all hardware, software, networking and telecommunications for Family Dollar’s stores, regional offices, distribution centers, corporate campus, mobile employees and the Company’s internet and social media presence. Josh is also responsible for ensuring that Information Technology investments align with, support, and deliver the Company’s mission to be the best small-format, convenience and value retailer serving the needs of families in our neighborhoods. Prior to joining Family Dollar, Josh spent 10 years as a consultant to retailers assisting them in deploying retail technology to improve their store operations and merchandising capabilities.
Dr. Srinivas Akella
Srinivas Akella is a faculty member in the Computer Science department at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He received his B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University. He was a Beckman Fellow at the Beckman Institute of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and on the faculty of the Computer Science department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute prior to joining UNC Charlotte. He is a recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER award, and the National Talent Search Scholarship from the Government of India. His research interests are in developing algorithms for robotics, biotechnology, and data analysis applications. He has multiple patents and has consulted for startup companies. He has developed courses on Cloud Computing for Data Analysis and Big Data for Competitive Advantage at UNC Charlotte.
